Joseph Severino, a Patriotic Republican Candidate for Governor of Illinois, bringing a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to the state he has called home his entire life. With a 30-year track record of successful small business ownership, Joseph has  showcased his leadership and entrepreneurial acumen.   

 

Josephs grandparents came to Illinois from Naples, Italy and Tripoli, Greece.  He was raised in the tough, hardworking streets of Cicero and later navigated the neighborhoods of Chicago before planting roots with his family.   A devoted husband of nearly 25 years and proud father to five children (four daughters and a son). Committed to self-growth, Joseph is a Harvard alumni, having graduated from the prestigious and exclusive Owner/President Management (OPM) program at Harvard Business School, and has also passed the California Baby Bar, reflecting his drive for personal and professional excellence. As a philanthropist passionate about creating better lives and opportunities, he aims to empower all Illinoisans with the same opportunities for growth and prosperity.
